There is a gentleman at MIT that is trying to make a HUGE difference in the autism world.
Here is his story.
He started out trying to figure out Fragile X syndrome,( a degenerative disease that presents with autistic like behaviors that worsen over time), in mice and the work has expanded to regular autism.
They finished their first clinical trials and they were good. A decrease in negative behaviors.
This is incredible news.
they have two more clinical trials to run and maybeeee....just maybe they could have Fed approval in four years??????
Of course we want to try and get the boys in on the trials.
Guy had a point to make this year. If this could work and they could re-learn everything that they have missed for the last 12 years......could it be possible for them to catch up?
At the very least....maybe this could be the saving grace for all the little ones just showing symptoms and keep them from sliding into the dark side.
