It wasn't until today that I saw the silver lining of this transition. No doubt, I'm enormously grateful for Guy's new employment. I'm even grateful for the unemployment and experiencing yet another challenge as a partnership.
Moving on my birthday is the perfect metaphor for the life-change ahead. I'm launching into my career, I'm retiring as a homemaker. Guy and I are facing the future as two professionals now. My practicum starts in a few months and that means I'll be sitting with my first clients.
Everything is pointing to my second wind, a second go-round, a do-over.
Away we go....into the dark to pick up the heaviest challenge I can find and dig in.
