1. Spence can't step on the first step and the last step of a flight of stairs.
2. Right now he is closing doors he finds open 3-4 times in a row.
3. He hates open windows and doors.
4. He almost always has to eat with one foot on his chair. ( Every meal he gets 100 prompts to put his foot down!).
5. There is one green chenille blanket that he wears like a mink stole around the house.
6. Every night before he goes to sleep I kiss him once and we say, "good night". I kiss him a second time and we say, " I love you".
7. If there is a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom, in the same time it takes to walk the therapist to the front door and lock it, Spencer will empty out the whole thing. BTW he doesn't care how much it costs.
8. Whenever he needs a drink of water he will fill the cup to overflowing with ice, fill the water to overflowing, take a few sips and then dumps it all out in the sink.
9. He's now focusing on the barstools in the kitchen. They have to be in just the right spot, evenly spaced.
10. When you tell him to put his shoes away, he lines them up side by side, just so and then puts them into the closet on the shelf. It is very cute.

Happy Birthday Spence! Fab photo and post today! I couldn't get over the similarities between Spence and my Taz. Taz also has a million rituals that drive me up the wall (including the repeated door closing thing!). His newest: he always has to take the first bite of his sandwich out of his mouth and examine it before he can eat it (ew), and he has to touch my hair and then sniff his fingers before he gets out of the car (ew ew).
I love learning more about kids. It's fun to hear what they like and do since we don't get to see you very often. :)
