We are winding up our scouting journey.
I chose this size shirt quite a few years ago in hopes that it would last him through to his eagle.
Maybe if he had gotten his eagle two years ago it would have worked. I do declare that boy has hit another growth spurt. Wednesday night those shoulder seams were halfway up his neck!
I used to bend over so he could pin his awards on my shirts at the awards ceremonies. Now he has to lean over to reach me.
Sigh.
No bones about it. Gotta rip off those patches and spring for a shirt that he will wear almost six months. Just in case...I'll check out the thrift store. I'm sure there are plenty of shrinking scouts out there.
