spent almost a week hanging out with my mom, my sisters and the three wee ones.
For some strange reason, (that we will not be repeating), we decided to converge in middle earth, (aka Wayne County, Utah), in FEBRUARY.
This place is lovely in the summer and a frozen tundra of coldness the rest of the year. Yikers.
We spent the days cooking, cleaning-up, naps for the kids, lather, rinse and repeat.
Smores at night in the wood stove were fun and then we all turned in fairly early.
It was good to get out of real life for a little while. It is helpful to look at what is happening from outside the fish bowl and consider whether there are any changes that need to be made.
Tried to play with my camera. I can't believe that I'm not a world class photographer by now. It has only been three years that I have had this camera. Come-on!
Highlights of the trip:
NOT hitting the deer on the road at night
eagles scavaging on a corpse on the side of the road
NOT hitting the cows wandering across the road in the DAY

so glad we didn't hit those deer.
so not glad you put a picture of my sneer. i'm on a mission to take bad pictures of you now.
Sounds like you guys had a great time... I can't even remember the last time we went to the cabin. It's been so many years.
Glad you could all get together. :)
Annie...i thought you looked mysterious and organically glamorous.
