We grabbed the boys early today and scooted to the park for some good old "get the wiggles out" time. It worked. Spence had a great time trying to elude Guy's grasp and Tyler was chillin' like a villain on the swings. He tried as hard as he could to get me to put the cheese spread on his crackers. I prevailed and the stinker had to innovate. Yes...a cracker will serve as a scoop to get the cheese-like goop into your mouth.
We met a sweet little 10 year old with autism and his mom. She was beyond thrilled to find another autie mommy. Her boy sounded just like our " Radio Spencer" but with coherent sentences and interesting thoughts. He was so cute. His little sister was trying to wrangle him to another part of the playground. He couldn't help saying really loudly..."how come you are always so mean to me"...but he said it so adorably. He didn't want to get off of his ride.
Unfortunately I forgot the window lock and Spence threw Ty's precious empty potato chip bag out into the breeze. Cue a really intense tantrum and we ended our visit on a low note. There was no salvaging that one.
These are some pics of the trip. It took about a dozen pics to get anything close to what we liked and these are just a few of them.
