So the verdict is out...Tyler can go camping. He LOVED It!
We had his favorite things....FIRE and food.
Guy had a great time and came home very tired....took a rest and then took Ty back to his house. He ended up taking Ty to the pool for a while first to take off a crusty layer or two.
To be honest, it was a difficult transition back to the house for Ty. But not for the reasons you would think.
It was because here he has access to those YouTube videos. Once Guy dropped him off at his house, he was fine.
This was definitely a tough week. Anticipating every thing that could go wrong with Ty is an unavoidable behavior. You just get a lower threshold for worry.
I am so very thankful that it all went well. Ty was agitated by the new videos but settled in to the house just fine. He camped like a pro and made it back to his home in one good piece. Here is the photographic proof that it happened.

Oh that's wonderful! I was just checking to see if you'd updated yet... What a great memory for Ty and Guy.
what an awesome success for Tyler! that is such a milestone for guy and him to look forward to every summer now. so cool.
